GENERAL DENTISTRY

As part of your routine dental examination we will check your mouth for signs of abnormality.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

If you have one or more missing teeth, a single implant or implant supported bridge is an effective solution.

TEETH WHITENING

As we get older, our teeth naturally become darker. Teeth whitening products can help lighten your teeth.

WHITE FILLINGS

Most people have fillings of one sort or another in their mouths. Nowadays fillings are not only functional, but can be natural looking as well.

Dental Equipment

CROWNS/BRIDGES

We provide NHS crowns and also high end porcelain work including Etkon crowns which are extremely natural in appearance.

VENEERS

Veneers make teeth look natural and healthy and, because they are very thin and held in place by a strong adhesive, very little preparation of the tooth is needed.

COMPOSITE BONDING

Composite bonding (also known as tooth bonding or dental bonding) offers a solution for minor damage or gaps in teeth.

CHILDREN

We believe positive dental experiences start at birth and actively encourage mums and dads to bring babies along.

Had my first visit today. I don’t like going to the dentist and get very anxious and emotional. The whole team were amazing and made me feel at ease. Thank you."

Mouthguards are protective devices primarily designed to cover and cushion the teeth, gums and surrounding oral structures such as the lips and cheeks. They are commonly used in sports and certain medical conditions to prevent injuries and damage to the mouth.

Mouthguards provide a barrier between the upper and lower teeth which helps prevent broken teeth, chipped teeth and other forms of dental trauma.

Thanks. We'll be in touch as soon as possible.

Lynton House Dental Practice accepts referrals for dental implants from other dentists.

We can either place dental implants for you to restore or complete the implant treatment.

Mr Alan Macleod is happy to mentor referring dentists in the restoration of implant cases.

ANTI-SNORING DEVICE

An oral appliance fits over your teeth like an orthodontic retainer while you sleep and supports your jaw in a forward position to keep your airway open.

MOUTHGUARDS

Mouthguards are an excellent preventive tool for many types of situations that cause harm or injury to your teeth and gums.

Wrinkle reduction

treatments

Linton House Dental Practice, Port Glasgow | NHS and private dental treatments

Ageing is associated with wrinkles and lines on the face that may have developed by the action of muscles on the skin.

Injection into certain facial muscles will reduce their ability to contract and consequently soften the appearance of wrinkles.

Excellent results have been obtained by injection into frown lines and crow’s feet.

I was at hygienist today; by far the most thorough, professional and comprehensive examination and treatment I've had from a hygienist. Really helpful dental advice and education! Highly recommend this dental practice."
